Description:
Mad Science offers 8 FUN camps to choose from located at 14 different locations in Portland and Vancouver. Not all camps are offered every week or at every location. Visit our website for complete details.
- In the Garden (ages 4-6) Exciting introduction to basic environmental science, how living things grow and how they interact with the environment around them.
- Claws, Codes & Constellations (ages 5-7) Decipher the world around us in these exciting classes just for our younger Mad Scientists.
- Rockin' Rockets & Aerodynamics (ages 5-7) A new adaptation for younger campers! Space, rockets, planes and flight, a little bit of everything for a rockin' good time!
- 3,2,1 Blast Off! (ages 7-12) Rockets, rockets and more rockets! Build and launch a rocket everyday as you learn all about, you guessed it, rockets!
- Moving with Science (ages 7-12) Discover how science keeps our workld moving in this kid-friendly look at fundamental sciences including biology, physics and chemistry.
- Secret Agent Lab (ages 7-12) Sharpen your pencils, polish you magnifying glass and get ready for a week of Mad Science sleuthing!
- Chemicals, Cells & Crime (ages 9-13) Learn how studying chemistry & biology can make you into a GREAT DETECTIVE! End your week by using your new science knowledge to solve the Mad Science mystery..."At The Scene of the Crime."
- Radical Robotics (ages 9-13) Explore the wonderful world of automation. Discover the basics and the complexities of robotics and build 2 robots of your very own.

Our week-long sessions begin June 22 and end the week of August 24, 2009. We offer half-day programs for ages 4 - 7. Full-day programs for ages 7 - 13. Some locations offer before and after camp care as well.
