Our Program
Blue Tree is a summer academic program for girls entering 7th–12th grades. We are offer 2 two-week sessions at Bryn Mawr College, with both day- and residential-student options.We offer airport pick-up (from Philadelphia) as many students travel from different states. Bryn Mawr has a wonderful reputation, stunning facilities, and the charming town is a short walk from campus.
We design an environment for exploration and learning that is non-traditional, creative and tons of fun!
Our Classes
Our class choices are divided into BLUE and GREEN options. Girls choose one class from each group, just like choosing a major and a minor in college. All classes are hands-on and project-based, allowing students to explore new areas, strengthen their skills and follow their passions. Students learn and grow through DOING.
BLUE classes include: Product Design, Dance, Creative Writing, Fashion Design, and Public Art.
GREEN classes focus on problem solving and critical thinking.
Our Staff
Our staff teaches a strong program and leads fantastic activities. They relate wonderfully to students and bring teaching, summer camp, and all-girls experiences with them. They are constant resources for our students, in and
out of the classroom. They live in the dorms to provide 24-hour supervision.
