Prestige Productions Inc. Announces Destination DANCE! Young Leaders Camp
Texas-based PrestigeDANCE announces the official launch of Destination DANCE! Young Leaders Camp, a camp that will focus on training dancers not only to refine their dancing skills, but to become well-rounded, self-confident Leaders in life, as well as in dance.
"We are a dance camp and competition company that prides itself on producing high quality, over-the-top events. To that end, we have engaged Ashlee Nino and Hok Konishi, two of FOX TV's 'So You Think You Can Dance' Finalists to join us for our incredible summer camp as our Celebrity Master Class Instructors," said Lisa Parker, Managing Director of Prestige Productions, Inc. "We also have Ms. Ann Fry, a renowned Leadership Trainer that works with Executives/Management of Fortune 500 companies all over the U.S., devising a Leadership Program specifically for the dance and drill team members who will be joining us."

The caliber of young dance talent coming out of Texas has dramatically increased over the last few years. High Schools and Middle Schools who have dance or drill teams have been raising the bar when it comes to their dance programs and their students' abilities. We offer these dancers and competition/show teams the opportunity to expand their dance training outside of their school or studio. We give them the ability to train under professional dancers from all over the U.S. that have different styles and methodologies to offer. We also bring to the table the Leadership component that consequently helps to make dancers more self-confident, well-rounded and prepared to take on the inevitable life challenges that may come their way.
The openings of local dance studios and the development of public school dance/drill teams has been on the rise due in part to the success of television programs like FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance", ABC's "Dancing with the Stars", etc. "As a result, the growth and success of dance programs at all levels inspired us to create PrestigeDANCE as an outlet for the creative expression of the state's best young dancers," said Parker.
PrestigeDANCE invites Intermediate, Junior and High School age dance teams including public and private school and independent dance, drill teams, studio teams and dance/drill officers, to come participate in their 2008 Destination DANCE! Young Leaders Camp being held on June 26-29th in Dallas, Texas.
